The Cisco Catalyst 3850 48 Port UPOE LAN Base Switch WS-C3850-48U-L-RF is a Cisco Switch rack-mountable 1U enclosure type with Gigabit Ethernet switch subtype that provides capabilities that ideally suited to support the convergence of wired and wireless access. It enables uniform wired-wireless policy enforcement, application visibility, flexibility, and application optimization. In addition, it provides 48 x 1000Base-T RJ-45 UPOE – 60 W port interface connection, 176 Gbps of switching capacity, 480 Gbps of stacking bandwidth, 4 GB of RAM, and 2 GB of flash memory.

The LAN Base feature set offers enhanced intelligent services that include comprehensive Layer 2 features, with up to 255 VLANs.
